About
In 1996 Desire Foundation was established with the aim to develop a network that links governmental institutions and civil society organizations, in particular universities and non-academic organizations. Through the platforms that it initiated and/or contributed to, our foundation had a role in raising, by innovative means, the awareness and sensibility of a diverse public towards critical issues of multiculturalism and social inequalities.
Since then, the foundation conducts research, runs teaching programs and produces publications related to these subjects, sustains civic participation on public life, defends human rights by the means of different programs and actions, and supports the access of marginalized people to justice.
